Opening
[Khaos] (Anointed self with wedding oil and silently called on universal forces)
(Anointed bride & groom with wedding oil)
I anoint this couple in the name of the Lord and the Lady. May they bless this union and may it be a lasting one.
We are here today, not to create a marriage; but to solemnize this union that already exists and to celebrate it with Hal and Tori.
Vows
Harold and Victoria, Will you please join hands and face one another.
(they do so)
Harold, will you take this woman, whose hands you hold, choosing her alone to be your wedded wife? Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, honor her at all times, and be faithful to her?
[Hal] I do.
[Khaos]
Victoria, will you take this man, whose hands you hold, choosing him alone to be your wedded husband? Will you live with him in the state of true matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, honor him at all times, and be faithful to him?
[Tori] I do.
[Khaos]
As you take these preliminary vows, Harold and Victoria, I would have you remember:
To love is to come together from the pathways of our past and then move forward...Hand in hand, along the uncharted roads of our future, ready to risk, to dream, and to dare.... And always believe that all things are possible with faith and love in the Gods, and in each other.
(Their own vows and ring exchange)
*Note: The vows they said to each other were pretty much made up on the spot. It was very beautiful and moving. Unfortunately, I did not have tape running for it, so we are still trying to piece together what was said. As soon as a close aproxamation can be put together, it will be here. Until then however, you'll just have to take my word for it that it was great.
Pronouncement
[Khaos]
In as much as you, Harold, and you Victoria, have consented together in the union of matrimony and you have pledged your faith each to the other in the presence of the Gods and this company, now by the authority vested in me as a minister, I now pronounce you HUSBAND AND WIFE!
You don't get to kiss her yet…
Benediction
[Khaos]
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no loneliness for you now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you. Go this night to your dwelling place, to enter into the days of your togetherness, and may your days be good and long together.
You may start your lives together with a kiss.
(they do so)
After that, the signing of the certificates and making everything all official and stuff.
